Environmental, Social & Governance
Acting the right way is part of who we are and how we operate. In the modern world, businesses face expectations from every direction, and Production bureau is no different. We choose to meet these expectations, and in many cases go beyond them, because it’s the natural thing for us to do as a responsible business.
Clients entrust us with their projects and, in turn, their reputation. We build trust by delivering standards as high as their own, the service we provide and the robust processes we maintain.
The same trust matters up and down our supply chain. Suppliers and partners want to work with businesses they trust and respect, that conduct themselves properly and act with integrity.
It extends further still, to the society we’re part of. We want to give back to the wider community, supporting shared aims and objectives where we can, to make a lasting, positive impact.
And that matters closest to home. Our employees want to feel proud of the business they work for, with confidence in how we run it. All of this, together, is what drives everything we do across our environmental, social and governance commitments.
Environmental
When it comes to the environment, we consider two areas: our day-to-day business operations and their impact on the environment, and the projects we deliver for clients. We take this responsibility seriously and choose to make decisions with the planet in mind.
On the operational side, we run our premises on 100% renewable electricity, manage waste responsibly with targets in place to reduce our impact, and have installed several energy-saving measures. We regularly review our processes so we can improve them further.
On client projects, we apply four guiding principles to everything we deliver: reuse, repurpose, reduce and recycle. We use FSC timber, recycle cotton and choose materials with a lower impact on the environment, sourcing local crew and suppliers where practical to cut transportation. The Better Stands framework guides this work too, where practical.
We work with clients to measure and report on the carbon emissions of their projects too, so we can benchmark activity and find ways to improve future events.
In October 2026, we agreed on a roadmap to reach net zero. It’s a commitment we’ve chosen to make, and one we’re pursuing alongside our clients and supply chain. Where appropriate, we advise clients on best practices within the events industry, helping them to make more sustainable choices on their own projects. You’ll find the full plan in the documentation below.
Social
We believe in supporting the businesses and charities in our local communities, and work with several good causes in our area because it matters to us. Each of these charities has a connection to health or sport, and we back them with our time, creative services and expertise, giving our team the chance to get involved in their work too.
Keeping Abreast
In Norwich, we support the Keeping Abreast fashion show, providing production and creative services for this charity, which helps women and their families through the challenges of breast reconstruction.

Break
We also back Break, a Norfolk-based charity that gives young people in, around and beyond care the love, encouragement and ambition they deserve. We work with them on their major annual fundraising project, providing creative and production support.

We support The Clare School in a similar way. The school helps pupils with physical, medical and sensory needs, including hearing, visual and dual or multi-sensory impairment, and we help in a number of ways, from creating great learning environments to sharing our creative knowledge with pupils or backing their fundraising activities.
That spirit applies inside the business too: we sponsor sports teams with a personal or parental connection to our employees.
Our people
For our own employees, we hold Real Living Wage accreditation, offer wellbeing programmes, support and inclusion across the business, and provide social activities for staff to enjoy outside work. We share details of these activities in our annual ESG report.
Governance
Running our business the right way matters to us and to our clients. We govern how we operate through a range of frameworks and policies that ensure we do the right thing.
Policies sit at the centre of this. There is a wealth of policies and procedures that meet, and in some cases exceed, legislative requirements, covering HR, IT, data management, GDPR, finance and health and safety. We constantly review these in line with business needs and regulatory changes. The director team holds overall governance responsibility for the business, with a dedicated Director of IT & Governance.
Risk management sits alongside governance. We manage risk through a number of mechanisms, including quarterly reviews of risk and mitigation at director level, and work with our supply chain to make sure they operate ethically and source goods and services responsibly. This happens through two-way dialogue and a biennial survey of their operating practices. We also run an annual business continuity exercise, which we review regularly to keep our plans current.
External scrutiny backs all of this up. We hold external accreditation for our IT systems and processes through Cyber Essentials Plus. In addition, external auditors review our year-end financial accounts, and we submit an assessment to EcoVadis, which is reviewed against its framework.
