The challenge
The English Distillery wanted to create a more appealing and cohesive identity at their distillery visitor centre – highlighting the warmth and charm inherent in the brand and act as a magnet for guests. Similarly, the view from the restaurant was underwhelming, with an uninspiring exterior that didn’t complement the surrounding landscape or enhance the dining experience. The English Distillery recognised that the first impression was crucial, especially for a business that aimed to offer both a product and an experience.

The solution
Production Bureau transformed the frontage of the English Whisky Distillery with a thoughtful design approach that stayed true to its established brand identity. By focusing on the distillery’s signature colour palette – warm, earthy tones of amber, deep green, and muted gold – they reinforced the heritage and craftsmanship behind the whisky while creating a welcoming atmosphere. Bold yet elegant use of these colours on the exterior drew visitors’ attention to the entrance, making it inviting from a distance. The design seamlessly blended the brand’s premium and rustic qualities, incorporating clean lines and sophisticated typography for a modern touch. This careful harmony between tradition and contemporary design turned the distillery’s frontage into an enticing space that welcomes both new and returning customers.
